Piano lock with matt black PVD-coated faceplate, including keys

Intergriff keyed lock with matt black PVD-coated faceplate, including keys; 20×175 mm universal mortise lock for residential construction

The Intergriff keyed lock with keys is a reliable choice for internal doors in residential buildings. This mortise lock combines ease of use with a classic key-based locking solution, making it suitable for situations where security is required without the need for complex systems.

The robust construction, with a backset of 50 mm and a sleek, matt black faceplate measuring 174 x 20 mm, gives the lock a modern look that complements a wide range of interior styles. The keyhole has a standard diameter of 56 mm, ensuring good compatibility with standard door handles and escutcheons. Thanks to its symmetrical design, the lock can be fitted to both left- and right-hinged doors. It comes as standard with two matching flat-bladed keys, allowing for immediate installation and use without the need for additional accessories.

A unique feature of this lock is that the fixing screws are supplied in exactly the same colour as the lock. This ensures a neat, uniform finish. Two strike plates are included as standard – one round and one square – which you can use as you wish. This is a detail that sets Intergriff apart from many other brands.

Advantages of PVD coating:

• High wear resistance – extends the service life of components.

• Corrosion-resistant – protects against rust and oxidation.

• Thin but hard layer – maintains the lock’s dimensional accuracy

• Aesthetically pleasing – available in various colours and with a glossy or matt finish.

• Environmentally friendly process – no harmful chemicals are used.

• Good adhesion – forms a strong bond with the material.

• Heat-resistant – remains effective at high temperatures.
