Terms and Conditions – Intergriff B.V.
Article 1 – Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
- Cooling-off period: the period within which the consumer may exercise their right of withdrawal;
- Consumer: the natural person who is not acting in the course of a profession or business and who enters into a distance contract with the trader;
- Day: calendar day;
- Durable medium: any tool that enables the consumer or trader to store information addressed to them personally, in a way that allows future consultation and unchanged reproduction;
- Right of withdrawal: the option for the consumer to withdraw from the distance contract within the cooling-off period;
- Model form: the withdrawal form provided by the trader that a consumer may use when exercising their right of withdrawal;
- Trader: the business as described in Article 2;
- Distance contract: a contract concluded between the trader and the consumer within a structured system for distance selling of products, where only distance communication techniques are used up to and including the conclusion of the contract;
- Means of distance communication: tools that can be used to conclude a contract without the consumer and the trader being physically present at the same time;
- Terms and Conditions: these General Terms and Conditions of the trader.

Article 3 – Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from Intergriff B.V. and to all distance contracts concluded between Intergriff B.V. and the consumer.
Before a distance contract is concluded, the consumer is provided with the text of these general terms and conditions. If this is not reasonably possible, it will be stated prior to the conclusion of the contract where the terms can be accessed and that they will be sent free of charge upon request.
If the contract is concluded electronically, these terms will be made available in such a way that the consumer can easily store them on a durable medium.
Article 4 – General Provisions
If one or more provisions in these general terms and conditions are null or void, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. The parties shall consult to replace any such provision with one that approximates its original meaning as closely as possible.
Situations not covered by these terms and ambiguities in interpretation shall be evaluated ‘in the spirit’ of these terms.
Additional conditions such as promotional terms apply only if explicitly stated. In the event of conflict, the additional conditions will prevail, unless otherwise stated.
Intergriff B.V. reserves the right to amend these terms. Amendments apply from the date of publication.
Article 5 – The Offer
All offers from Intergriff B.V. are non-binding. The trader reserves the right to modify or withdraw the offer at any time.
Each offer includes a complete and accurate description of the products, including door handles, hinges, escutcheons, and other fittings. Obvious mistakes or errors do not bind Intergriff.
Product photos aim to be accurate, but colors and finishes may differ slightly due to screen settings or production tolerances.
Article 6 – The Agreement
The contract is formed when the consumer accepts the offer and meets the stated conditions.
If accepted electronically, Intergriff confirms receipt by email. Until this confirmation is received, the consumer may cancel the contract without obligation.
Intergriff applies appropriate technical and security measures to safeguard electronic transactions.
All agreements are subject to product availability.
Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal
The consumer has the right to cancel the contract within 30 days of receiving the product, without giving a reason.
During this period, the consumer must handle the product and packaging with care. Only handling needed to assess the product’s nature and function is permitted.
Withdrawal must be communicated to Intergriff, preferably via email or the model form. Products must be returned within 14 days of notice.
If no timely notice or return is received, the purchase becomes final.
Article 8 – Costs in Case of Withdrawal
Return shipping costs are borne by the consumer and are set at €6.95 per return shipment (standard parcel post).
Returns at Intergriff’s warehouse are free.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of return or proof of return, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
In case of damage due to misuse or poor packaging, Intergriff may apply a depreciation deduction.
If the original order exceeded €100, shipping was free. If the return drops the net order below this threshold, the original €6.95 shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.
New return costs apply to exchanges.
Article 9 – Damage Notification
If a product arrives damaged, the consumer must notify Intergriff within 48 hours by emailing [email protected] and including:
- Order number
- Description of the damage
- Clear photos of the damage and packaging
- Date of delivery
Used or installed products are not eligible for claims.
Intergriff will assess the case and may offer a replacement, repair, or refund. Damaged items will not automatically be collected upon redelivery.
Article 10 – Exclusions from Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Custom-made products
- Products made to consumer specifications
- Items that cannot be returned due to their nature
These exclusions will be clearly stated in the product listing.
Article 11 – Pricing
All prices include VAT. During the validity period of an offer, prices remain unchanged, unless VAT rates or legal requirements change.
Obvious errors do not bind Intergriff. In such cases, Intergriff is not obliged to deliver at the incorrect price.
Article 12 – Conformity and Warranty
Intergriff guarantees that its products conform to the contract, the website description, and reasonable expectations.
Defects or incorrect deliveries must be reported within 14 days. Items must be returned unused and in original packaging.
Warranty duration corresponds to the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- Damage from improper installation or use
- Modifications made by the consumer
- Use contrary to the instructions
- Normal wear and tear
Article 13 – Delivery
Delivery takes place at the address specified by the consumer.
Orders are delivered within a reasonable timeframe, max. 30 days, unless agreed otherwise. Delays will be communicated, and the consumer may cancel free of charge.
If delivery proves impossible, Intergriff will offer a suitable alternative. In that case, return costs are covered by Intergriff.
The risk of loss or damage remains with Intergriff until delivery.
Article 14 – Payment
Orders placed at intergriff.com may be paid using:
- iDEAL
- Credit card (Visa/Mastercard)
- Bank transfer
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Klarna
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due within 7 business days after the cooling-off period ends. Prepayment may be required for certain payment methods.
In case of non-payment, Intergriff reserves the right to recover reasonable costs as permitted by law.
