Dimensions and fitting – how to measure correctly

To measure is to know. This way, you can choose the right size straight away and avoid having to make adjustments later:

• Door thickness: check that the cup depth fits and that there is sufficient material remaining.
• Installation dimensions: round – milling diameter and depth; rectangular – recess length x width x depth.
• Edge clearance: leave a gap between the handle and the door jamb, as well as any screw or fitting points.
• Wall clearance: for surface-mounted handles, space is required between the door and the wall, including around skirting boards.
• Material: glass requires through-hole or clamp-on handles; wood requires screw-fix or flush-mounted installation.
